GITA PROJECTS TO HELP US AND YOURSELF
Dear Divine Soul,
Thank you for reading about our society.
Our main goal is to serve humanity through the immortal, non-sectarian,
spiritual knowledge of the Holy Gita without regard to the race, religion, caste,
creed or financial considerations. THERE ARE NO
MEMBERSHIP DUES OR OBLIGATIONS. However, those who want to help
themselves and others are encouraged to take up any worthwhile Gita project of
their choice. Please
send a short description of your spiritual and
material goals of life, including your profession, hobbies etc. along with a
postal address and phone.
Our work appears in a the textbook, Sacred Words: A Source Book on the Great Religions of the World, First Edition by Terry D. Bilhartz, published in October 2005 by McGraw-Hill Higher Education, 832-page textbook in paperback. Price $50.
Our rendition was selected, due to its clarity combined with simplicity, for a Broadway (New York) musical production on Gita titled " Arjuna's Dilemma" by Douglas Cuomo Music and Theatre Group produced in summer 2004.
Worthwhile
Gita projects to consider are listed below:
(01) Volunteers are
needed to answer emails and help put Gita in schools, libraries, and other
public places when such projects are funded.

(02) Distribute
Gita to temples, friends, and public. We have supplied free pocket size
Gita in bulk quantities. So far, we have distributed over 100,000 free pocket size
Gita .
(03) Send an article,
story, an essay, suggestions, or take over Question/Answer section for
our website. We will post it under your name after review and evaluation.
(04) Buy our
hardcover cover (Fourth Edition) Gita from Barnes & Noble (bn.com),
amazon.com, or directly from us for an $18 donation (list price is $24.95). All
our services and membership are absolutely FREE. Just send us your e-mail to
become a member
(05) Translate,
publish and distribute Gita in
English, Hindi, Gujarati or in any other Indian language of your choice. We will supply the materials. More hands are needed for this big task. You may also help
us find an honest and reliable
printer in Delhi for all our publications.
(06) Our work has been translated in simple Hebrew, Dutch, French, German, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Galego, Russian and Spanish (other than Hindi, English and Gujarati) so far by the Gita lovers of these native countries free of charge. Our Gita needs to be translated in more languages.
(07) Open a
local branch of the
Gita Society or form a Gita Study (Satsang) Group in your
area. We will provide free materials, books and guidance. You will be free to
run local branch as you wish with our support.
(08) Our organization was established as a tax-exempt
spiritual institution in USA in 1984 to serve humanity through the teachings of the Holy Gita. Donations to cover the cost of
printing and S&H for bulk order pocket size Gita are appreciated.
Individual pocket size Gita copies are still absolutely free and mailed from Hong Kong from a generous supporter! More hands are needed for this limitless

(11) Join our editorial board, headed by Doret Kollerer in preparing soon to be published Gita for Children,
and other religious educational materials for children. We need writers, illustrator and graphic designer
for this project who will be paid. (** This project has been fully
funded by the McDonald corporation
and needs to be executed).
(12) Prepare a distance
learning center webpage, and a FREE
web radio for people to listen to Bhakti Sangeet and scriptures, discourses
and pravachans of saints and sages in Hindi, English and other
languages.
(13) Provide a reciprocal link to your website and help us

(14) We need your help
in mailing free Gita to those who request it through our website.
Postage will be your donation. You may also donate a office space for meetings
and mailings etc. Typing help is also needed.
(15) Print
and distribute Shri Gita Chalisa in
any language of your choice. This is the least costly and most cost effective
way to spread the gems of Gita among the masses.
(16) Help us prepare various teaching
materials on Hindu Religion from
Gita, Ramayan, Vedas, Upanishads, Hindi language onto CD.

Join the Board
of Directors by taking up any one of the following or any other Gita project of your choice and help spread the message of the Holy Gita. Society will provide
tax benefits and other support. You will have full freedom and control over
your project.
